Speaker wishes elections to take place

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn believes that today’s events in the parliament indicate an attempt of some forces to realize a scenario of further destabilization in Ukraine. According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the press conference.

V. Lytvyn said that in spite of absence of the draft law initiated by the Party of Regions faction on increasing of social standards, this political force continues insisting on its consideration without any explanations concerning funds resources.

At the same time he refused to say the names of people, who elaborate this scenario.

The Speaker of the parliament noted that he is ready for election.
