SBU attacked Naftogas building

SBU officials have attacked and occupied the building of Naftogaz Ukraine company. They have demanded original documents of agreements with Gazprom concerning transit and supplies of natural gas for 2009-2019.

As a reminder, on March 2 SBU instituted a criminal action against certain Naftogaz officials and accused them of stealing 6.3 billion cu m of gas, which cost more than 7.4 billion UAH. SBU also detained deputy head of the Energy regional custom Taras Shepitko.

SBU officials don’t explain their actions and don’t let anyone in the building, including BYuT deputies, who have left the parliament and arrived at the scene.

First vice speaker Oleksandr Turchynov addressed his former colleagues (Turchynov used to head the Security Service – ed.) and asked them not to follow “illegal orders” and “not to become a weapon of criminals, who head the Service and are controlled by the President.”

A BYuT deputy told ForUm that SBU officials occupied the office of the deputy accountant of the company. Later on the woman was taken by ambulance.
