The duel between a world superheavyweight
champion of IBF/IBO/WBO versions Vladimir Klitschko and British boxer
David Haye can go wrong because of Haye’s severe financial
requirements, Klitschko’s manager Berndt Bente reported.
“We
are too far from making an agreement. The duel will not precisely be
held at 02 arena because it is occupied on this day. We are ready to
organize the duel but we have to hold new negotiations”, Liga cites the
manager as saying.
“We do not like financial requirements of
Haye’s team. May be, Adam Booth is a good coach, but undoubtedly he is
a bad manager. This duel is a good chance for Haye, but his team
consists of stingy people. If Haye was a well-known sportsman as Lennox
Lewis or Evander Hoyifield, we would get additional funds realized from
broadcasting of the duel in other countries”, he reported. “But Haye is
not so well-known though he considers himself box superstar. However,
he took part only in six superheavyweight rounds”.
As is known,
earlier Vladimir Klitschko declared he would hold his next duel against
former overall heavyweight champion David Haye at Stamford bridge
stadium in London.
