Finance Minister of Ukraine resigned


Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko states that Minister of Finance Viktor Pynzenyk has resigned because he failed to do work under extreme conditions,as she told a briefing.

“Not all officials can meet challenges of the global financial crisis, not all officials can work under extreme conditions, not all officials can appropriately respond to the challenges, and so the weakest abandon their urgent positions and leave, and busy themselves with other things,” Yulia Tymoshenko stated.

The Prime Minister reminded that Viktor Pynzenyk is absent since the end of last year, as he is on sick leave.

At that Yulia Tymoshenko is sure that new Minister of Finance will be appointed in nearest time: “I can say that new minister of finance will be appointed in nearest time”.
