Government to provide efficient holding of spring-field works to have big crop


The Government is working at solving the problems of agrarians to provide the spring-field works. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated at a meeting on the issues of providing the spring-field works with fuel, Cabinet's press office reported.

In particular, according to the Prime Minister, the Government controls the extension of credits for agrarian enterprises and has full information, what among 92 banks, maintaining the agrarian sector, extended credits and what did not.

“Today, we’ll appeal to the National Bank with the complete list and specifically regarding every bank, what the sum of non-extended credits for agrarians is and we’ll permanently control along with National Bank credits extension,” the Head of Government said. According to her, credits in sum of 3bn hryvnias are not extended today.

The Prime Minister also informed that resource in sum of 2.2bn hryvnias had been already formed to finance spot and futures contracts for purchasing corn by the Agrarian Fund.

“Our task to ensure powerful harvest and as a result – quite significant export potential enabling the country to stabilize the banking system, balances of payment, trade balance and to do its best for the country’s normal living and working,” Yulia Tymoshenko said.
