President would like the Government to adopt Naftogaz financial plan before the NSDC meeting

President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and suggested that the Government made appropriate decision and approved a balanced financial plan for NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine before Friday's NSDC meeting.

According to the President misbalance in financial streams presents threat to national security of the state and that is why he initiated discussion of this question at NSDC meeting.

President Yushchenko said that risks of further misbalance of financial streams of Naftogaz comes out of two factors: the need to spend additional 25 billion hryvnyas to buy Russian gas at the new price and meeting financial obligations before creditors equal to around 26 billion hryvnyas.
