Russian Gasprom expects gas at $1,000 for Europe

Head of OOO Gasprom Aleksey Miller said that according to the forecast, made by the company, by the end of the year the price for Europe will reach USD 500 per 1000 cubic meters.

Moreover, giving a reply for the question of Interfax-Ukraine, Miller confirmed that according to their forecast soon, the price for oil may reach USD 250 per barrel.

“In this case the European gas price will be USD 1000 per 1000 cubic meters,” he said.

Besides, Miller said that this price (USD 1000) will not be supernatural on the market”.

“Today, gas prices reach a thousand of dollars on the market of urgent contracts in Europe,” said Gasprom head, as Pravda Ukraine reports.
