President met with Malaysia PM


President Viktor Yushchenko met today with the Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. President's press office reports.
 
During the talks sides discussed a number of aspects of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia. Among the most perspective President named trade and energy cooperation, transport aviation, military and humanitarian field and space exploration. To focuse more in depth on these directions discussion V. Yushchenko invited A. Badawi to pay an official visit to Ukraine.

Mr. Badawi from his part said that his visit to Ukraine could initiate beginning of Ukraine-Malaysia Intergovernmental Commission work. He also invited President to come to Malaysia with an official visit.

Deputy head of Secretariat of the President of Ukraine Olexandr Chalyy also took part in the meeting.
