Prosecutor’s General Office to examine incident between Lutsenko and Chernovetsky


President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko asks Prosecutor General Olexander Medvedko to examine all circumstances of incident between Interior Ministry Yuriy Lutsenko and Kyiv city Chairman Leonid Chernovetsky and if necessary to apply all foreseen by the legislation measures to the participants.

As the press-service of the Head of the State informs, it is stated in the official letter of the President to the Prosecutor General, sent on Monday in connection with incident that occurred between Lutsenko and Chernovetsky on January 18 after the sitting of the NSDC.

The President asks to inform him about results of examination and corresponding response within a week.
