Yanukovich decided to create the committee on economic reforms

During a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and Ukrainian Union of Industrials and Entrepreneurs Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich said that he had an intention to create a governmental committee on economic reforms and to head it.

“Reformation is one of the constituent part of economic growth, thanks to effective mechanism of collaboration between the Verkhovna Rada and the government we can start reforms,” Yanukovich said.

He expects that President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko will join the process of structural reformation in Ukrainian economy. “We decided to begin with creation of organizational structures and I agreed to become a leader of this committee,” he added.

Yanukovich also said that the decision about the creation of a new governmental committee will be discussed at the enlarged session on March 21.
