Government sets up new Aircraft Building Trust

The Cabinet of Ministers has set up the State-run Aircraft Building Trust "Aviation of Ukraine" (the "HAKAU"), “Cabinet press office” reported.

The trust is subordinated to the Ministry of Industrial Policy, and is chaired by Oleh Shevchenko, who used to be a director of the Kyiv State-owned Plant "Aviant".

The trust is composed of 10 state-run enterprises, including the Antonov State-run Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Complex, the Kyiv plant "Aviant", the Research Institute "Buran", the Kharkiv Engineering Plant FED, and the "Novator" enterprise.

At the same time, the State-run aircraft construction corporation "National Union "Antonov" has been liquidated.
