Yanukovych left for Germany


The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is on one day official visit to Germany.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister for preservation of the environment Vasyl Dzharty, the Economy Minister Volodymyr Makukha, the deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Khandogy, the chairman of the VR committee on the national security Anatoly Kinakh and other officials.

On the arrival to Berlin, the PM is expected to participate in ceremony of Memorandum signing on intentions between the Ministry for preservation of the environment and the Deutsche Bank on cooperation in climate changes sphere, UNIAN informs.

The document foresees cooperation stirring up in sphere of decrease of emissions of greenhouse gases and implementations of Kyoto protocol in Ukraine.

Moreover the visit program foresees the meeting of Yanukovych with the chancellor Angela Merkel. After the meeting the common press conference of the PM and the chancellor is scheduled.

After this Yanukovych plans to hold meetings with the representatives of business circles of Germany and the Eastern Committee of German economy and to participate in international conference “Ukraine-EU: new approaches”. In the evening the PM comes back to Kyiv.
