New ministry may be formed in Ukraine

People’s deputies of Ukraine propose to form Land Ministry. The draft bill was registered on January 26, 2007 by deputies Ivan Kyrylenko (BYuT), Victor Slauta (Party of Regions), Yevhen Sigal (BYuT), Vasyl Sylchenko (SPU).

The explanatory note says that the document proposes the Cabinet to reorganize State committee on land resources, State committee on forestry, State inspection on use and conservation of land, State service of geodesy, cartography and land-survey into Land Ministry.
