President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will meet with
Yulia Tymoshenko today at 5 p.m. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko told journalists Monday.
“My meeting with the President is scheduled for 5 p.m.
It will be devoted to such issues as tariff increase protection and Ukraine’s gas-transport
system protection,” she said.
BYuT strategic goals for the forthcoming plenary
session of the parliament are cancellation of privileges and inviolability for people’s
deputies and abolition of the political reform, adopted offhand during the presidential
campaign, according to Tymoshenko. In addition, Tymoshenko underlined, BYuT’s
primary task is to arrange early parliamentary elections.
Tymoshenko also pointed out that BYuT still has a
number of complaints against speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Moroz and
considers that the VR chairman betrayed the Ukrainian people having assisted in
formation of the anti-crisis coalition.
So, considering whether to support Our Ukraine’s
initiative to collect signatures for Moroz’s dismissal from his post, BYuT will
take into account Oleksandr Moroz’s position as regards inclusion of gas-transport
system draft bills into tomorrow’s agenda.
