Lavrov thanked Tarasyuk for good work

The Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov thanked ex Foreign Minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk for his professionalism and contribution to development of the Ukrainian-Russian relations.

“I would like to appreciate your professional approach that is typical to our cooperation and aimed at solving different tasks on development the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation,” the telegram from Lavrynovych to Tarasyuk said, Interfax-Ukraine informs.

Lavrov wished Tarasyuk good health and prosperity.

The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko accepted Tarasyuk’s resignation on January 30. Volodymyr Ohryzko is appointed acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
