International airport to be built at Ukrainian-Russian border

AT the border of Belgorod region (Russia) and Kharkiv region (Ukraine) an international airport will be built, Belgorod governor Yevgeny Savchenko told at a meeting with Arsen Avakov, chairman of Kharkiv regionala state administration. A lot on the territory of Belgorod region, measuring 1.8 ths hectares, has been allotted for construction of the airport.

“There is a possibility that the lot will be extended and will side right up to the state border of Ukraine,” Belgorod governor said.

Press office of Kharkiv regional state administration informed that the project of international airport at the border will be economically sound both for Russia and Ukraine.
