Kyiv mayor to set to gambling industry in Kyiv

The Kyiv city state administration decided to set to gambling industry in Kyiv, the mayor Leonid Chernovetsky said at a roundtable.

“We will introduce into legal practice activity of the gambling industry and fight against illegal placement of slot-machines in the city,” he said.

According to Chernovetsky, for the purpose of sorting activity of gambling industry and reducing its negative influence on national morale the Kyiv city state administration have decreed for the first time to license conditions of maintenance of totalizators and gambling institutions in Kyiv.

“These measures will finally introduce order in the sphere of gambling industry and will systematize location of gambling institutions in the capital,” Chernovetsky said.
