The first program with the Millennium Challenge Corporation aims at struggle against corruption

Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and the delegation members of the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation discussed yesterday implementation of the struggle against corruption program, Cabinet press office reported.

The Ukrainian PM noted that the first cooperation program with the Millennium Challenge Corporation is scheduled for two years and aims at struggle against corruption. Viktor Yanukovych is sure that positive results will be achieved in this direction.

“We know perfectly well that the problem of struggle against corruption exists at various levels of public administration, the Head of Government noted. And it is necessary to use economic methods for overcoming this negative phenomenon. Ukraine shall gain world experience”.

I hope, the Millennium Challenge Corporation will help us in it, Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
