Turkmenistan failed to fulfill terms of gas supply to Ukraine

Turkmenistan failed to fulfill terms of contract with Ukraine on gas deliveries, as a result of which “Ukrainian party will lay an official claim concerning disregard of provision by the Turkmenistan party,” as declared Naftogaz President Oleksiy Ivchenko.

“We have prepaid 88 mln USD, but Turkmenistan party hasn’t supplied gas. In January and February we received gas at $95 on the Ukraine-Russia border and in future we will receive gas at the same price,” said Ivchenko.

"If they intend to talk with us outside the framework of the agreement, we will respond, but by means of Stockholm court," added Oleksiy Ivchenko.
