Winter-swimmers invite Yushchenko to rally

The first All-Ukrainian contest on winter swimming will take place February 25 in Ternopil. Winter-swimmers from all Ukraine will gather there to take part in the competition.

Mikhailo Rybak, founder of “Neptune” Ternopil club of winter-swimmers reported that the program includes 25 meters race for women and 50 meters race for men, weight lifting and other contests.

“It is quite possible that representatives of President’s Secretariat will come to the competition. Recently we have presented a video tape about our club’s activity to Victor Yushchenko and invited him to the rally,” told Rybak.

According to him, February 25 Ternopil club “Neptune” will celebrate its twentieth anniversary.
