Ukraine has won its first medal on the Olympic Games


Ukrainian Olympic combined team has won its first Olympic medal in biathlon race at distance of 7.5 km with two firing lines.

French sportswoman Florence Bavrel-Robert has become the Olympic champion in this kind of sport, having passed the distance for 22:31.4.

Sweden biathlon sportswoman Anna Karin Olofsson, with the result 22:33.8, has taken the silver medal.

Ukrainian Lilia Yefremova has won the bronze with the result 22:38.0.

Other Ukrainian biathlon sportswomen have taken places in the forth ten. Olena Petrova – 44th place, Oksana Khvostenko – 49th place, Nina Lemesh – 50th place, as reported “Sportoboz”.
