Yushchenko is still waiting for Yanukovich’s congratulations

The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is ready to meet with Victor Yanukovich; however, he did not get any suggestions about such meeting.

Yushchenko reported about it on a press-conference in live broadcast of the "5th channel".

"I have not got any suggestion about a meeting. But if he (Yanukovich – ed.) is interested in, I am ready", - the president said, answering the question about possibility of such meeting, "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.

"By the way, he has not congratulated me still (on victory in presidential elections – ed.). There will be an occasion for this also", - Yushchenko added.

As reported before the leader of the party "Regions of Ukraine", the ex- presidential candidate Victor Yanukovich declared about a wish to meet with Victor Yushchenko in the near future for a discussion of problems of political opposition functioning in the country.
