Yushchenko will get award "For courage"

The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will get an annual reward "For courage", which Fund of library in the name of the former president of the USA John Kennedy hands to political figures.

President of Fund, daughter of the ex-president Caroline Kennedy informed Yushchenko about it.

According to the senator Edward Kennedy, John’s Kennedy brother, Victor Yushchenko "enraptured and changed the world by one of the brightest examples of political courage".

Caroline Kennedy marks that the Ukrainian president "inspired citizens of the whole world by his extraordinary courage". Yushchenko’s allegiance to the ideas of freedom and democracy is a "powerful example of that, how one man can obtain changes".

A silvery lantern, symbolizing light of freedom, will be presented to Yushchenko this spring.

Fund of library in the name of John Kennedy annually rewards political and public figures for displayed political courage.
