By president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko's decree from February, 8
the new staff of the organizational Committee for preparation and
realization of song competition "Eurovision -2005" was appointed.
It was reported in press-service of vice-prime minister of Ukraine
Nikolay Tomenko.
Tomenko and vice-prime minister on the
questions of euro-integration Oleg Ribachuk are appointed as
co-chairmen of organizational Committee. Besides, organizational
Committee consists of minister of culture and arts Oksana Bilozir,
minister on the questions of extraordinary situations Jvania David,
minister of foreign affairs Boris Tarasuk, minister of finance Victor
Pinzenik, minister of internal affairs Yurij Lucenko, minister of
transport and connection Chervonenko Eugen, chairman of government
custom service Nikolay Kalensky, chairman of Government boundary
service Nikolay Litvin, mayor of Kiev Omelchenko Alexander, executive
producer of song competition "Eurovision-2005" Pavel Grisak.
Besides, Ruslana Lijichko, Vitalij Klichko and director of LTD "Studio of the audio recording "Luxen" Alexander Ksenofontov
are offered to enter organizational Committee.
According to the decree
of president, co-chairmen of organizational Committee must coordinate
work of ministries and departments in the realization of competition.
During a week term it is offered to revise the plans of realization of
competition. Besides, officials must finance preparation and
realization of competition, taking into account suggestions of the
National broadcasting company of Ukraine, and in the case of necessity
- to submit a bill for consideration of Verhovna Rada concerning
bringing proper changes in budget law.
Ukraine National TV Company is charged with realization of song
competition according to the requirements of the European broadcasting
union.
The control after implementation of decree is laid on the State secretary Alexander Zinchenko, "UNIAN" informs.
We remind, after last year's victory in competition "Eurovision-2004" of the Ukrainian singer Ruslana Lijichko,
Ukraine took a title to perform the competition "Eurovision
-2005". Competition will take place in Kiev at the end of May.
